A legend we need but don’t deserve. Known for his honesty and uncompromising approach to climbing ethics. Pointing to uncertainty as the essence of alpinism, Marko climbs according to the “no regrets” rule. Always true to himself, the Slovenian has never really enjoyed being in the spotlight and finds it difficult to describe what success is. Ask him about fame and he’ll most likely reply “Slava je kurba.”
