Filling the Void
Professional German slackliner and Guinness World Record holder Lukas Irmler followed in the footsteps of Bernhard Witz and Faith Dickey to repeat their amazing highline in the French Vallée Blanche.
Lukas and the team climbed two stunning granite towers in the Mont Blanc massif, Trident and Chandelle, and filled the void between them not only with the webbing but also with passion.
The project involved climbing 6b or harder routes on both sides, dealing with proper mountain conditions, and… performing a handstand 200 meters above the glacier at an altitude of 3,000 m.
